About me
I am Alessandra Maleddu, a medical oncologist. I studied medicine in Cagliari and trained in medical oncology in Bologna, Italy. I specialize in sarcoma: I trained at University College London Hospital and then worked in the United States. In Sardinia, I spent several years as a home palliative care physician, where I saw too many cancers found late.
I created ScreenMe because many cancers can be found before symptoms start, but it is not always clear which tests to have, and when.
